It’s not something I keep track of or pay any attention to. But this morning, when adding a few more reader comments about some of my writing and stories, I noticed it. Maybe some of them are from you…

That’s the word count on my Reader and Client Comments page on my website. Below you’ll see a screen capture I took. At the bottom left is the word count and over to the right, the date and time.

Now, maybe 10% of them—the words—are my own, where I append their name and what it is they are commenting about. It usually consists of: ‘–NAME, about THIS STORY’ and I mark with a couple of dashes the line break between each comment.

So let’s take that away…

And there is some—very little—commentary from me about this and that adding some context to their comment and how it was received. It’s much less than 10% but let’s use that.

Take more words away…

That brings us down to…

25,338 words

Of reader (mostly) and client comments about my writing and publishing work. What I do has pleased a lot of people. But if you’ve never read my stories and writing, please give them a try. Let me know what you think. If you’ve read and enjoyed, please tell others. Most importantly, if you liked specific stories let me know in the comments or via email. And if it’s one of my books at Amazon, please leave a review there or at Goodreads.com.

If you’re a person or company considering hiring a writer or ghostwriter to help with a project, then take a look at the Reader & Client Comments page of my website. You’ll find a link to it in the top navigation area and also immediately below the header and ‘subscribe’ area. It’s not what I say, or tell you about my writing… it’s what they say.

PLEASE READ: This--below--is where intelligent comments are exchanged and threads of meaningful and thought-provoking discussion can take place. Some of my favorite stories I've written started with such exchanges and through them I've met some truly wonderful people. This comment section is a place where it's almost old-school in that responses--if one is needed--may not be immediate but will come. Kind of like postal mail correspondence, an easier pace that allows thoughtfulness and not knee-jerk fingers flying over keyboard replies, or something that comes out as top of mind, a stream of conscious superficiality. I hope to hear from and interact with you on anything I've written that sparks a thought or urge to comment.

  1. Just between you and me, it pleases me so much that you used a comment that I made in your “collection” of words. It brought such a smile to my face. That really made my day. Thank you.
