If writing your story, a memoir or a book is a goal or dream… isn’t it time to take action and make it happen? I’m an author, freelance writer, writer for hire and ghostwriter… and can help you.
“Dennis Lowery is a consummate professional who has a unique talent for being able to help you develop your story, whether fiction or nonfiction. Blessed with great patience, he is a good listener who gently leads you as your project progresses, while at the same time making sage and valued comments for consideration. Responsive and diligent, he is a master at bringing out elusive ideas; presenting them to you in a thoughtful yet persuasive manner. He introduced me to creative nonfiction and effortlessly guided me along a path that led to my first book. If you are considering writing a book, the ‘go to man’ is Dennis; he will aid and assist you throughout the effort and will make the journey enjoyable.”-–General Richard ‘Butch’ Neal, USMC (Ret.)
According to a New York Times article, “On any given week, up to half of the books on any nonfiction best-seller list are written by someone other than the name on the book.” [Note: This is also happening in fiction. Many best-selling authors now use co-authors and ghostwriters to produce work under their name. While I’ve written and developed several nonfiction books (including memoirs) as ghostwriter or co-author, I’ve also ghostwritten and co-authored novels, novellas and short stories for clients.]

BOOK & STORY DEVELOPMENT

HERE’S HOW I CAN HELP YOU GET IT DONE!
You don’t have to be a writer to become an Author — use a ghostwriter!
Not everyone has the time to sit down and write a book and not every person with great experience, knowledge, information and stories to share is a skilled writer. But that doesn’t mean their experience, knowledge and story shouldn’t or can’t be shared. That’s where a co-author or ghostwriter, a writer for hire or freelance writer like me comes in. I use the following process:
Planned interviews with the Client based on appropriate topics to support their story development,
working with rough materials they provide (records, journals, notes, letters etc.) and
the Client dictating their thoughts/remembrances/stories and sending to as a digital file we then transcribe. We can work with the Client to show them how to use an inexpensive digital recorder that they plug into their computer and can then easily email the file to us.
Another alternative to help with the writing is our Client Dictation Services™ where we set up a special phone number for the Client (private and exclusively for their use). They can use it to call in and dictate their information directly from their phone. Then we download the file from each session for its transcription.
These are the successful and proven ways I use to write a client’s Book. I can take what a Client has as an objective and content, whether in their head or in some written form, and put it in shape to create the book they want to publish.
Exclusive Services for a defined period and project are available. Such exclusive service can reduce completion time for projects but must be scheduled in advance; i.e. with sufficient lead-time for planning purposes. Exclusive Services are provided at a premium and require a deposit at time of request to secure exclusivity (the deposit is applied towards the initial payment at project start).
If you are a writing or ghostwriting client prospect and want my help:
Trust is critical—and the older I get, the more important it is to be selective of who to work with—I’m sure you feel that way, too. The person and the subject or topic of their books are crucial in my selection process. If you get a chance, Google me but also read all the information about me on this site and see how to visit my corporate site. Client prospects with a budget to retain a professional should put me through their own selection process, too.
Important Note: There are many great stories to be written but I can only take on projects with clients who can afford my fee (which is paid in installments). I do not work on projects where payment is promised on book sales or royalties.
Please understand this: I can only offer this call to qualified client prospects who are able to pay for a professional writer or ghostwriter (see my note above marked: Important). In our call I will ask you about your budget for your writing or ghostwriting project.
