“TIMMY” [2018 Halloween Installment]

My How Timmy Has Grown...

TIMMY - Short Fiction by Dennis LoweryRealtors try to sell a house, only to learn the house is still ‘occupied’ and they won’t leave. DISCLAIMER: No cats, small boys or Realtors were harmed while writing this story.

Early morning — 5:22 AM (according to the time stamp on my file) — October 29, 2015, while drinking my coffee I came across a public domain picture that begged to have a scene for Halloween written about it. I wrote the first piece in about 15 minutes and used that image as a cover. Almost a year later, on October 20, 2016, I revisited it—again with my morning coffee—and wrote the second part. October 2017—I added more to the story. Now, 2018 has been added (bringing it up to 2,170 words). You can read it at the following link”

PLEASE READ: This--below--is where intelligent comments are exchanged and threads of meaningful and thought-provoking discussion can take place. Some of my favorite stories I've written started with such exchanges and through them I've met some truly wonderful people. This comment section is a place where it's almost old-school in that responses--if one is needed--may not be immediate but will come. Kind of like postal mail correspondence, an easier pace that allows thoughtfulness and not knee-jerk fingers flying over keyboard replies, or something that comes out as top of mind, a stream of conscious superficiality. I hope to hear from and interact with you on anything I've written that sparks a thought or urge to comment.
